Unplanned Shutdown in Windows Server

Last updated on Aug 24, 2025

If your Windows Server is shutting down unexpectedly - especially at regular intervals - it is likely due to an expired evaluation license or unlicensed installation.

To avoid this, we recommend using a properly licensed Windows image. Onidel provides fully licensed Windows VMs through our control panel, which do not experience this issue.

If you are using your own Windows ISO, please ensure it is correctly licensed and activated.
