Onidel applies various default security settings, such as blocking outbound RDP (TCP port 3389) connections. This helps prevent malware-infected servers from being used in brute-force or DDoS attacks targeting other Windows systems on the internet.
If you have a legitimate need for outbound RDP traffic, you can easily disable the block:
-
Go to your VM Management page
-
Click the Security tab
-
Locate the option "Block Outgoing RDP"
-
Toggle the switch to disable the block
Once this setting is updated, your server will be able to initiate RDP connections to external systems.
